Our aim is to create income and employment through supporting micro and small enterprise development in rural areas. Such enterprises are the key to the economic development of Lao PDR, as they generate jobs for poor rural households. They also provide an effective way to assist and empower women. However, many of these enterprises have limited access both to markets and to financial and business services. SNV is working with local organizations to enable them to fill this gap. |
